Master Viscometers are used to precisely calibrate liquids that are to be used as Standards. The first size begins with pure water as the calibration standard, valued at 1.034 cSt/s @ 20° C, and progresses upwards using standards of increasing viscosity. Extreme accuracy Is achieved due to the long capillaries and drop times. Note that the circulation bath must be very deep.
