Sample is introduced through large tube to fill bulb A, and the tube is equilibrated in a bath for 15-20 minutes. Sample is then suctioned from bulb to a level over E, and meniscus is timed as it flows downward past bulb C and the two timing marks. Repeat timings to achieve consistency and accuracy. NOTE: Size 1 has 1320s, Size 2 has 600s, and Size 3 has 380s, minimum flow time specified. All other sizes have regular 200s minimum.
